I took my truck to Dave’s for a transmission speed sensor they fixed the speed sensor for 1200 I went under the truck to check the transmission fluid because my truck is rough shifting in first gear and three of my transmission pan bolts were loose One was hanging on by a couple threads and now I can’t check the transmission fluid because the dipstick is so tight you cannot loosen it thank God I went under there to check it because by now I’ll probably be leaking fluid and missing bolts I’m not saying they’re a bad shop. They just need to double check their work.

We love Dave. Have been using him for years. He's very nice and honest, and is always willing to explain issues. He has never talked down to either my husband or I, and is always willing to hear us out. We recommend him to everyone. I fully trust him and his team.

I was on a trip today from Belmont County to canton. My truck which has never given me a link of trouble until today... the intercooler hose blew off twice. I was on work travel so I had no tools on me. I stopped at Dave's bc it was the closest shop to me on 77. The office staff was very nice and the owner let me borrow the necessary tools to do my repair and then I was on my way. Thanks Dave's Transmission for helping me put in a pinch! Would highly recommend.

Had a standing "First thing in the morning" appointment to drain and refill transmission that had been set a week or so early. On the morning of appointment dropped the car off at 8 am sharp opening time. The worker at the door didn't know why I was there despite the appointment. He obligingly took my car key and contact note that I had made out. He commented that he didn't know when they could get to it, nodding to the full bays of vehicles. I waited all day for a call letting me know my vehicle was ready. When no call came, I went back down only to find my vehicle parked as I left it. I inquired when closing time was and was told 5 o'clock, and was told my car wouldn't be done today. I could see from the bare spots in the snow that the two vehicles that had been parked all night were gone, and have to think they were moved ahead of mine. I have to wonder what the business had in mind. Wete they even going to call and tell me they wouldn't be servicing my car, which was probably an hour job. They seemed to think it would have been okay to try to get to it whenever not even an apology, only an excuse that a van was tying up the rack intended for my car, week early appointment meani
